Unattended operation and flexible open architecture printing software are joined by the advanced new Smart Ribbon Technology, in which individual resin colors automatically tune printer settings for optimal image quality and maximized pigment transfer. Images are brighter, color is more accurate, and operator time is reduced to loading media and sending files.
DC2 eliminates additional production steps, because its thermal resin inks bond more securely to the surface of vinyl than any other printing method. Images won’t rub off the way solvent ink, ink-receptive coatings and electrostatic toners do. So DC2 images don’t require lamination to resist water, UV rays, or mild abrasion for up to 5 full years.
